Engineer (f/m/d) Analytical Development - Biophysical Chemistry
We are currently looking for an experienced Engineer (f/m/d) in Analytical Development, specializing in Biophysical Chemistry. In this role, you will be responsible for independently developing and optimizing analytical methods for plasmid DNA, mRNA, and lipid nanoparticles. Working as part of a team, you will support the establishment of innovative methods in chemistry and biochemistry, with a strong focus on hands-on work in the lab. Additionally, you will assist with analytical method characterization and transfer in the quality control department, as well as perform routine and service analytics for other departments. Data analysis, documentation, and preparation of SOPs, reports, and presentations will also be part of your responsibilities. Ideally, you should hold a Master's degree in biological or chemical sciences, or equivalent, and have experience in biochemical and chemical methods such as CGE, spectroscopy, DLS, and electrophoretic methods. Sound knowledge of HPLC-based methods, specifically IP-RP, AEX, and SEC, in the field of nucleic acids (mRNA, plasmid DNA) and lipids is required. Demonstrating independent and reliable lab work is essential, and knowledge in statistical data analysis would be advantageous. Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills are a must, and fluency in English is required, while German is a plus.
