TECO is a renowned research group at the University of Karlsruhe, specializing in Ubiquitous Computing, artificial intelligence, and sensor systems. With a focus on wearable computing, industry 4.0, health, and smart city applications, we lead Germany's Big Data Centre, the Smart Data Innovation Lab (SDIL), and the Smart Data Solution Center (SDSC). As part of the Pervasive Computing Systems group, we offer education activities in the field. Our projects involve "Real-World-Projects" with disruptive results, collaborating with industry partners. All our project results, software, and documentation are Open Source on Git Hub. Join us for research in health technologies, coordination tasks at the Health Tech Center, publishing contributions, and daily tasks at the chair. We seek candidates with an excellent MSc degree in computer science, engineering, psychology, or related fields with a focus on health technology. Practical experience or strong technological affinity in hardware/software and practical AI are desired. We value organizational skills, a proactive and self-organized work style, fluency in German and English, and expertise in one of the following areas: machine learning, wearables, human-computer interaction, data science, and health technologies.
